Brighton shot with film...

It's very rare to see a photograph shot with film now. Digital photography is just so much quicker, cheaper and more accessible. In some ways I wish we had digital cameras when I studied photography at university (so much cheaper than all that film!) but then again I feel lucky to have learnt how to develop film and print images in the darkroom.

I still have a drawer full of rolls of colour, negative and colour slide film to use. It's probably out of date and warped by the countless x-ray machines it's been through but I don't care - it's fun to get out my old Minolta film camera and have some fun.

There are so many advantages to digital but nothing beats the suspense of waiting to see what you've captured on a roll!
