Black and White film

Look at how grainy and imperfect these photos are! I love them! I haven't used black and white film for about 10 years so it was a real blast from the past to shoot a roll while I was in the States for work. This film had not been looked after at all - it was probably about five years out of date, and it hadn't been kept cool or in the fridge. And it doesn't matter.

These aren't very good photos, but they look good because they are in black and white. Well, I think they do. I have a few rolls left of b&w film and I'm going to have a play in the next couple of months to see what else I can get. The best bit was waiting for the roll of film to be developed at the lab, and the suspense to see what I captured. Love.
