expecting...

Currently in England we are experiencing the longest winter in 50 years. The cold and miserable weather has been slowing grating away at everyone during the last month, that by the time Easter rolled around last week we were all fed up and ready for a break. It's amazing how much the weather really does affect your mood!

Generally by March things usually start to look up - daffodils are making an appearance, the sun starts to have a little warmth in it and everyone starts to pack away their winter coats in favour of lighter brighter jackets (you still need a couple of layers, of course!)

But not this year - when I made plans with my very good friends back in December to take some pictures of them before they have their baby in April, we thought March would be a perfect time to do it. Not so! The only weekend that suited us all turned out to be a very snowy one. So our plans to head to Clapham Common and get some beautiful sunny pics were not going to happen.

Instead, Tomo knew of a pub not too far away she wanted to try that she thought had a lovely interior. The decor was  perfect, muted tones and the best part was the beautiful light filled dining room. But you can only do so much when there are other people having a nice cosy Saturday afternoon lunch!

It was lovely to get some pics of them before two become three, but I look forward to photographing them again soon after he arrives. I had so many plans, all to be dashed by the snow! Hurry up spring, we are all ready for you!
